PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Riverhouse is a private residence designed for a family, seamlessly integrating architecture with the natural landscape of the Dnipro River. The site’s unique positioning inspired the curved semicircular form of the main living area, maximizing panoramic views and enhancing the connection with the surrounding environment.

The architectural composition unfolds in a way that ensures a harmonious interaction between indoor and outdoor spaces. The living room, located in the central curved volume, offers unobstructed views of the river, creating a dynamic spatial experience. The second floor accommodates private sleeping quarters, including a master suite and guest rooms, providing a serene retreat for the residents.

On the basement level, the house features a yacht storage hangar (elling), a private office, and a shelter space designed for safety in case of emergency situations. The project incorporates contemporary security considerations, making it adaptable to current challenges while maintaining a sense of openness and lightness.

The outdoor area is an extension of the residence, featuring a sauna, a swimming pool, a garage, and a workshop, all designed as a cohesive architectural ensemble. The landscape design integrates functional outdoor spaces with the natural topography, ensuring seamless accessibility and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

Riverhouse is more than just a home—it is an architectural statement that blends modern design, functionality, and a deep respect for nature. The project reflects a vision where architecture and landscape merge, offering an exceptional living experience on the waterfront.
